Light has no rest frame — you cannot boost to c, so there is no “photon's point of view” to render. Proper time along this null path is exactly zero: the beam's own clock records no duration at all between emission and arrival. The camera is simply parked at the pulse's position, still using ordinary straight-line light rules.
